The Imaginaries

The Imaginaries – from their home state of Oklahoma – is made up of married duo Maggie McClure (piano, keyboard, vocals) and Shane Henry (guitar, vocals). They released their long-awaited self-titled debut album, The Imaginaries in 2021. Their sophomore album, Fever, is out August 22, 2025 & is a salvation-after-struggle themed album, bursting with gritty blues-rock riffs, mesmerizing vocal harmonies, driving pop-rock tunes, heartfelt singer-songwriter ballads, delicious guitar tones, and dazzling solos. The 12-song collection boasts guitar-solo cameos from Vince Gill, Joe Bonamassa, and Ariel Posen. Both albums were produced by the duo in Muscle Shoals, AL and feature legendary ‘Swampers,’ including bassist David Hood (Aretha Franklin, Etta James, Paul Simon) along with an Allstar band led by longtime Little Richard guitarist, Kelvin Holly. Selected to open for the Brian Setzer Orchestra Christmas Rocks! Tour, they’ve also opened for/toured with B.B. King, Etta James, The Neville Brothers, Edwin McCain, Sara Bareilles, Paul Reiser, Jonny Lang, Buddy Guy, Judy Collins, John Waite, Sixpence None The River, The Gatlin Brothers & more! They’ve performed numerous NBA holiday halftime shows & can be heard/seen in many films/tv shows like “A Cowgirl’s Song” and “Reagan” (starring Dennis Quaid).
